I use the LOW heat setting on a 1500-watt heat gun, applied one to two inches above surface inside and outside of the dust cover for about 90 to 100 seconds total, followed by pressing the dust cover top against a hard flat surface until the dust cover cools.

I searched alot of things last night but "pig nose" never crossed my mind. The frame actually contacts the slide (contact marks are on the slide and frame). The AA .22 conversion that came with it had an extended barrel to "Help" with the cycling. I believe it's the frame rub thats causing the AA issue's. Author.
